Depart your school for Boston, New
England's cultural, financial and historic center.
Today you'll experience the best that Boston has to
offer.
10am-Noon: Enjoy time at Quincy Market where
a variety of activities and places to dine or shop
invite you to relax with your friends. You may also
visit famous Faneuil Hall, where orators beginning with
the American Revolution to present day have come to
express their concerns about our country and way of
life. Or, if you prefer, you can visit Old Ironsides
and the Naval Museum in Charlestown.
Noon-3pm: Depart for the Blue Man Group
Show or Sheer Madness. The Blue Man Group
if a compelling theatrical experience that defies
description and appeals to all audiences. The energetic
performance, presented without any spoken words,
features three fascinating blue men who will take you on
a multi-media, interactive journey that is outrageously
funny, intelligent and visually stunning. A dynamic
live band accompanies that blue men and their tribal
rhythms help drive the show to an unforgettable climax.
Or, join the more than 4.6 million people around the
world who have seen Shear Madness, the
nationally-acclaimed comedy whodunit where the audience
gets to solve the crime. It opened in Boston in 1980
and features a unisex hair salon on Newbury Street which
becomes the scene of a zany murder mystery. The play is
filled with up-to-the-minute spontaneous humor and is
delightfully different every time you see it.
3:30-5pm:
A short trip to one of two great restaurants.
You may also spend some time after dinner at the Copley
Place Mall if you would like.
