Day 1. Departing your school in the early morning we shall head South towards our nations capital. Enroute we shall stop in Philadelphia for a quick stop at the Liberty Bell before arriving in Washington, DC. Upon arrival we shall have dinner at the hotel. Day 2. After breakfast we shall meet our local step on guide and conduct a tour of the major government buildings in Washington DC. Included will be a tour of the National Archives and the Library of Congress. Following lunch (payable locally) at Union Station, we shall head out to Arlington National Cemetery. Here we shall take the shuttle through this hallowed ground. At the tomb of the Unknown Soldier , one cannot help but remember the sacrifice others have made on our behalf. Then, you will tour the U.S. Navy Memorial. Following dinner at the Hard Rock Café, we shall conduct a nighttime illuminated Memorial Tour of Washington DC Day 3. Today following breakfast, we head into Virginia to visit George Washington’s Mount Vernon. Then in the afternoon we shall explore the incredible Air & Space Smithsonian Museum. where you'll find the greatest collection of Americana you'll ever experience. From the Hope Diamond to actual space capsules, you'll be able to see some of America's most treasured sights. This afternoon a special treat will be the outstanding IMAX show "TO FLY" at the Air and Space Museum. This evening we shall visit Potomac Mills, one of the largest shopping outlets in the USA, with over 220 stores, 15 cinemas and 30 eateries. Dinner coupons included! Or alternatively board our own boat for dinner a DJ and dancing on the Potomac River (price supplement). If not, visit the new FDR Memorial and the Capital Mall. Day 4. Have a good breakfast this morning as it is our final day and we
will visit Fords Theatre and The Peter son House before the drive
